Partner, 90% of the pharmaceuticals come from China. This is the current supply chain on prescription drugs. We have folks who are killing us with prescriptions drugs.

Seems like the staff would be at very high risk....especially if they aren’t into 100% following of procedures to ensure their own health....swim in a cesspool and the nasties will find a way to get to you.

I HIGHLY doubt most Chinese health care workers are utilizing proper clearing procedures for decontamination. Especially in these new makeshift hospitals, I'm sure they don't have the proper facilities (showers, decon room, contaminated equipment incinerator, etc) to suit/unsuit. I would bet all the beer in my fridge that a lot of them just take the suit off like a normal piece of clothing, toss it in the community locker for the next on-shift guy. The hospitals probably reuse them to save $$ and cause there's no sterile ones available.

It just takes a little tweaks in the machinery to make the drugs here in the good ole U.S.A.

Oh, I fully agree. While it doesn't hurt to have some competition from fully vetted and certified (via US inspectors) foreign manufacturers, every single major drug should have at least one full-US manufacturer, with a full-US supply chain.

At a minimum, every foreign generic should be heavily sampled to verify purity of drug and veracity of labeling.

And on a side-rant, CoO/CoM labeling needs to be a lot more widespread, and enforced. Especially a lot of the crap that's made in foreign countries, but a single US worker clicks in one button so they can label it 'Assembled in US' or some bullshit like that.
