Glad Trump's public tweets didn't cause Barr nor the (in)Justice Department to "fail do their job with Andrew McCabe!"
Pressure will be applied by the 5 eyes not to pursue I bet. The same reason President can’t just spill the beans on everyone.
He can’t due to the 5 eyes and CIA/FBI saying we will lose sharing data; our spies will be at risk, will be exposed, etc.

The prosecutor for McCabe was the same prosecutor for AWAN case. Awan got probation and didn’t have to wear ankle monitor.

As angered as everyone else, I want to point out two things.
First, history. Americans just do not seem to have it in their character to punish these kinds of genuine political crimes. Burr was tried, but not convicted, of treason for trying to set up an independent republic. Only 2 of the Whisky Rebellion ringleaders were hanged. Washington pardoned the rest. No one was even charged in the Hartford Convention for secession IN THE MIDDLE OF A WAR! In the Civil War, the ONLY Confed leader to even go to jail was Jeff Davis . . . for two years after being responsible for the killing of 600,000 Americans. The Rosenbergs were not executed for treason, but for espionage.
So from this I conclude that it is just not in the American character to think that people in politics really hate this nation and really want to destroy it, hence, no real clamor that they face punishment.
Second, Trump has severe limitations. He has earned straight As for trade, jobs, economy, military, Wall/border security and judges . . . but has an F in draining the Swamp and a C in personnel selection. Sessions, Barrstool, Wray . . . for Trump to drain the swamp he has to have like minded people at the top of these agencies (DOJ, FBI, CIA) that see the threat-—and even that’s not enough. Each of them needs at least one “Serpico” inside who will rat out the others out of patriotism and be a pariah for the rest of his life. These are very tough pins to align.
It also seems to be the case that obtaining a conviction on something like this against someone like McCabe in DC is not going to happen.
The entire jury pool is tainted from the start. They simply aren’t going to be held to account. Not in court, not at the polls, nowhere. They have free reign inside any area populated by their constituency.
I’m not really sure what an answer for something like this could be. I was angry at Barr earlier, but then I heard this mentioned, and it is clear that the corruption of the Democrat party is so thorough and complete that it runs all the way down to the voters and potential jurors.
