Using military medical facilities might be a good idea...
Most military bases except San Diego, Wilford Hall and Bathesda/Walter Reed have very minimal care facilities. A lot of the bases where I was assigned transfer most of their extended care or critical care patients to adjacent civilian hospitals. On base care is limited to initial treatment and triage.
What the military bases listed do have, is extensive but under used dormitory facilities with integral chow halls and the ability to isolate.
Not a good idea until a vaccine is available. I would hate to see half of the 82 Airborne or 101st Airmoblie Division get sick and unable to deploy.
