If it ever had social or political relevance, those days are over. Unfortunately, they never made an effort to meet the world or the times are they ‘are’. They became and remain the minority OF a minority in the US. It’s the functional definition for ‘out of touch’.
Liberals routinely court people/groups long since absorbed into the US mainstream of life. What’s worse-Liberals try reaching this element with a dogma so dated and laughably immaterial that absolutely none but the most illiterate, indolent and disaffected identify with it.
Just hearing Liberal personalities in their impeachment performance was a daily lesson affirming that, in the public forum, they speak only to/for one another! They’re like a clock ticking in an empty room. That gratuitous insolence and absurdly mawkish language and antics have currency only in the narrowest range of American politics. THEIRS.
Their impeachment fraud is the rock they shipwrecked themselves on and Iowa is where they’re marooned. I don’t know how even a pathetically biased media can rescue them. Love it!
Were I Donald Trump, the offer to be found “less reprehensible” if only the draining of the swamp would cease, that is not an offer I would take, as it is coached in language that reeks of insincerity and hypocrisy, with no redeeming social benefit whatsoever.
