I have no feminist friends. Those poor souls I knew in high school who claimed to be my friends all deserted me when I turned 18 and sought out a man to marry. It got worse when I not only had twins but when I said I wanted to have more kids.
None of those people are in contact with me ten years later and I didn’t bother with my 10 year reunion.
I say, good for you!
Your tag line nailed it!
Go to your 20th FRiend. It’ll be a guilty pleasure for you to enjoy seeing them wishing they had followed your path. Of course, by your 20th, California might be too unsafe for a woman with people actually counting on her.
I graduated the year you were born.
I attended school in a small rural town in Kansas.
I skipped my 10 year reunion, that was too soon in my opinion.
Went to the 20 year and had a blast. It was great talking to many of my classmates who had changed so much for the good.
I have about 4 people Im still friends with from then..
I still have my best friend Ive kept contact with, about once every couple weeks.
Looking forward to my 30th this spring.
