This is actually very simple Swamp calculus:
Either Granny Box Wine has made McConnell her b*tch, or Yertle is gonna make her his b*tch.
If Granny Wine Box comes out on top, Mitch can kiss the Senate goodbye - the House will be filling it with phony "impeachable offenses" for the rest of the year.
A lot riding on this one for Leader McConnell...
While certainly hoping otherwise, like many other known guilty, (who claim they are innocent), some of this may depend on how close Durham or Trump get, or are perceived to get, to McConnels family.
McConnels son/family did get rich, and his wife Chou is arguably shades of poster child for Federal insider influence through trade and shipping, and her Fed office position, specifically dealing with China.
