Our Latin teacher made us sing the conjugations - still haven’t forgotten 45 years later. He was also quite the personality on local radio. So fortunate we had many dedicated teachers who challenged us and made us want to learn more. I serve with many teachers on local boards and they have nothing good to say about their students - and am certain the feeling is mutual.

Yeah - that's what I heard from my old teachers starting about 5 years after I'd graduated ... and I imagine it took another giant leap into insanity during the Obama years.

I had great great teachers - very lucky - probably the last of sane productive high school.
