Loving Lord – our world is growing darker and more evil day by day and we long for Your return; and we beseech thee O Lord to be with our brothers and sisters in China and other places in the growing darkness of our world that are suffering persecution at the hands of workers of evil who seek to destroy the truth of Your Word.

Please give Your saints the strength and courage to remain firm in their faith, despite any physical, emotional or psychological torment they may have to endure for the sake of Jesus Christ. Protect and keep each one from the wickedness that desires to devour them. Protect them O gracious and loving Lord and support and strengthen them in the ordeals that they will be subjected to.

Let Your peace and joy and love reign in their hearts as they identify with the sufferings that the Lord Jesus endured for them. Amen
