“I am just waiting for some bright cop telling me I dont match my DL...”
We’re old enough to be cautious about things like that now because we’ve had enough of those situations crop up over our lives.
The one thing I learned the last visit to the DMV...make an appt. I bypassed 50 people in line, (most speaking Spanish...grrr). I was out of there in 30 minutes.
Good Idea...
I had ‘always’ thought that when us ‘old farz’ show up there should be something in the system to get us in and get us out as quickly as possible.
They should know that all we will do is sit around and get bored then start paying attention to how many people apparently don’t work, how many can’t speak English, start inquiries of why are ‘they’ allowed an interpreter when their ‘main goal’ is to be able to (LEGALLY) drive on American streets with signs in American.
The ONLY place that should be designated non ‘American’ speak is areas of International airports, and stores that want to BUT have to expect a loss of business.
Remember the trouble the guy in ‘Famous Philadelphia Cheese Steaks’ got in trouble for posting a sign that the employees speak English, therefore, speak and order in English.....
Times they sure are a’changin....
