That was one theory by Michael Savage about 2 years ago. He said the first reports of various fires were so quickly started at separate places which did not fit the “ready to fire with a spark” descriptions, and seemed to fit the accelerant profile instead, that he thought Muslims who had threatened to do this earlier had started doing this.
I disagree about the Sonoma fires. My daughter went to college up there, and she said it was a strange night. She couldn’t sleep because of the wind. That in addition to the dry conditions, the area just exploded.
I’m surprised this hasn’t happened in CA during the Santa Ana winds. Wouldn’t be hard for a dozen arsonists to burn down the entire state.
