They spent the last 2 decades convincing everyone that ALL PROSTITUTION is human trafficking, hurting women, children, immigrants and minorities. Now suddenly we have AOC and her woke, progressive colleagues calling it “transactional sex services” and telling us it’s cool. I guess they gotta look out for their voters.
So I oppose legalization on that basis.
And keeping it illegal has protection built in of a sort, for both sides. although you may face the criminal justice system to access that.
Keeping it illegal raises the cost and since I am not in favor of prostitution and the damage it does to the prostitutes and to the kids in families which break up over adultery let's make it cost as music much as possible.
I thought they were convincing everyone that heterosexual marriage was prostitution, but every other kind of arrangement was OK and “life-affirming.” :)
