NYTimes had a story this week about “Trump Anxiety Syndrome.” It was really funny just reading the comment section. Psycologist from all over chimed in saying how many patients they were seeing. Kinda spooky if you think about it.
My wife’s uncle, MIL’s brother, is so #TDS-afflicted he wrote off the whole family. Doesn’t come at Christmas, won’t take a phone call from his sister, etc. We’re just a bunch of flyover country bumpkins, evil Republican Trump supporters. Forget that he’s a failed Manhattan playwright, and we’re all more than reasonably successful, live in nice payed for houses, etc. It’s to the point where the wife and I were up there last year, wife called to see if he wanted to go to dinner (for which we’d have paid), and he refused if I was involved, which she was having none of. And she’s nearly as conservative as I am. This went down I think 2 years ago.
