At 7:10 in the Powell clip we see the primary event that hooks Clapper into the conspiracy — a letter from British Security diasavowing Christopher Steele that was passed directly to ODNI. That letter has disappeared. That must be the moment when Clapper gave tacit consent to the coup plotters to proceed forward. The letter represents his area of maximum exposure and liability.
It’s an item he has not been asked about. Also doesn’t make it into IG report. The Brits would still have their copy and Barr and Durham may already have it as part of their evidence assembly. It’s how Clapper got sucked in to Brennan and Comey’s plot and represents a weak link that could cause him to flip and turn against the other two.

Of course not, the DOJ IG could only investigate the DOJ and the FBI, and only current employees. Clapper and Brennen were outside his perview.
Although Clapper is a traitorous scumbag, he was not an Army radio intel surveiller.
He served first as a Marine rifleman and then finished a degree and was commissioned as a Lt in the AF. He did command a SIGINT unit for two tours in VN as a lieutenant, but then moved fully into the intelligence field, rising to the rank of LtGen.
I flew with him a number of times when he was head of SAC intel. He was the airborne emergency actions officer on the old SAC Looking Glass and I was the battlestaff team chief. He was an odd duck then and everyone knew to be careful around him.
No surprise that he would be hired by the fascist Kenyan. He always seemed to pledge loyalty to anyone who would move him up.
I’d like to see him convicted and his military/government retirement taken from him.
Underestimating Clapper and Brennan would be a terrible mistake. They are very smart, ruthless, ideologues intent on pushing the progressive project through to it’s ruthless conclusion.
They have held and exercised unchecked power over the American people and much of the DC Elite for decades and undoubtedly have a lot of J Edgar Hoover style files on rich and powerful people.
The upcoming battle is for the soul of these United States and the outcome is far from certain. Who’s on who’s side is very unclear.
