you can bank on the dems demanding both be thrown out of their positions and investigated- many of the dems are scum who can only hope to win by brute force- fortunately they are failing miserably so far-

Former Whitewater Independent Counsel Robert Ray said he was "aghast to learn how little involved the [Obama administration] attorney general and the deputy attorney general of the United States" were in the FBI investigation into President Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.

That was by design. Obama made his basic wishes known and let the underlings take it from there, so he could maintain deniability.

I really doubt Obama was running much...

The future of the country depends on Bill Barr and John Durham and that is no exaggeration.

100% true.

My wife and I have been praying for the President every day, but these days with special zeal. He needs our prayers.

According to Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch, Durham has sent zero Target Letters, and convened no Grand Juries (so far). I hope to God that he is doing something.

He documented many violations and illegal acts. His interpretations of what was going on were clearly designed to be as favorable as a possible to the FBI. The facts he documented are extremely important nevertheless.

I am not at all optimistic that anyone will be held to account. Doing so would require sweeping indictments and trials of legions of Swamp creatures. I do not see a “dragnet” like that happening. It would be too politically explosive and expose the corrupt under belly of DC and they simply won’t allow that to happen.

DC never punishes DC. It covers up, distracts, and excuses. And they spend our tax dollars protecting themselves.

We live in a kleptocracy.

I can’t disagree.

It’s the same with the impending “trial” in the Senate. The Senators will not allow any witnesses to be called, and no evidence introduced. They cannot afford to have their own corruption exposed.

Agree. It was a strange and disjointed report in which the facts were largely downplayed, excused and/or contradicted in the executive summary. Just the kind of evasive thing you would expect out of DC. Which is exactly why Trump was elected.

People thing IG’s are watch dogs. They are not. They are guard dogs who are there to protect and defend their agencies.

Agree. Either the FBI and much of the NSA and their current staff need to be fired or relocated to Fairbanks Alaska.

The FBI can not be trusted and must be changed. Barr is trying but there is only so much culture a boss can change without drastic changes and rebuilding from scratch.

Everyone in DC is worried about what others know that could hurt them. Nobody wants to pull the thread out of fear that it will unravel the garment THEY are wearing.

Even the lowest level people see and know things that can derail the careers of their superiors, so everyone treads lightly.

And therefore, this will disappear with time. Way too many skeletons. Way too many careers. Oh well.... Maybe next time.

Not seeing any evidence of this. The Democrat/Media complex is moving forward with their impeachment BS, and other than the tiny group of Republicans (like Nunes and Jordan) that have been fighting the good fight over the past 3+ years, the rest of the GOP has been mostly mute or Never Trump-ian. I'm still waiting for a comment from the RNC regarding the IG report - maybe they'll get to that before the end of the year (not likely). Articles like this one posted at sites like Flopping Aces aren't going to get the job done since the audience is tiny. Those in this country that believe in the rule of law, the Constitution, and freedom have a right to be very concerned at this point.

“Way too many skeletons.”

That’s it in a nutshell. You could also say that nobody wants excrement tossed anywhere near a fan. :)

Just look to Virginia and if we can’t get this resolved and with convictions CWII is coming for sure!

IG opening statement says it all about him!

Read paragraph 2! He’s a deep chit swamp dweller defending the swamp!
