Much of what the FISA report documents, was known two years ago (if only unofficially). This has always told me that the FISA court itself was complicit. As details of the fraud leaked out, you would expect the court itself to demand answers. As far as we know, that has never happened.
Since the FISA court is supervised by Justice Roberts, just one more reason to distrust him.
As head of FISA, Roberts must recuse from the Senate trial, he is a fact witness. The proceedings must be headed up by the Chief Justice. (Constitution). Roberts would have to give up the Chief Justice title, meaning a new Chief Justice would have to be appointed. This is going to take more popcorn than you planned for.
