They have plenty of votes to spare. The dems seem to be running ahead of schedule.
Apparently GP has not figured out Dems are flagernt, habitual, shameless liars.
If they aren’t whipping, it’s because they’ve got the votes.
If this ends up in a censure, we’re looking at months of rabid leftists hanging out in Dem Rep offices.
IT DOESN’T MATTER... Pelosi can dole out some NAY votes to these guys.. but they are done.. they were done they day they voted to move this investigation forward... how they actually vote on the actual articles is irrelevant.
Trump will handily get 40 or more states next fall, the GOP will handily retake the house, and almost certainly extend their lead in the Senate.
A free vote. The whips won’t be on hand so members can vote their conscience.
I expect it to pass. Leadership wouldn’t be pushing it if they didn’t have the votes.
Democrats have the votes.
The articles of impeachment read like articles of censure. You don’t impeach a president for resisting Congressional subpoenas.
Impeach him.
Do it.
Now.
Trump will wear it as a medal of swamp draining honor on his way to re-election.
Also, someone check me on this, but I don’t believe Congress can censure the Executive Branch.

In the eyes of Joe America there really isn’t any difference between impeachment and censure. They are both seen as an unjustified attack on the greatest president that America has ever had. Democrats, black and white, with larger paychecks and smaller taxes will always be on the side of the hand that feeds them.
I can’t decide whether I want them to impeach and further damage themselves and open up the potential for a really fun trial in the Senate with Humper and Joe Biden on the witless stand, Schiff schiffing his pants, etc...or to not impeach and get hammered by the AOC wing of the party who will probably oppose vulnerable Dems more effectively than the R’s could.

Some actually want to run for re-election in close races and know they are doomed if the GOP has a strong conservative candidate and they vote to impeach on flimsy non-existent crapola.
Reads like the Dem leadership is not entirely "onboard" with impeachment.
THis is their last gasp before the hammer falls. Their only strategy when the reality of their corruption sinks into the psyche of the American people they will claim that it’s payback for impeachment. This is the ONLY reason for doing it.
