President Donald Trump had a quiet Sunday schedule, with just one afternoon event in the Blue Room. But by midnight, he had fired off 105 tweets and retweets, going for the usual suspects - Democratic rivals, the impeachment inquiry and allegations of fake news by the mainstream media.

“I.G. report out tomorrow. That will be the big story!” the president wrote Sunday.

“Less than 48 hours before start of the Impeachment Hearing Hoax, on Monday, the No Due Process, Do Nothing Democrats are, believe it or not, changing the Impeachment Guidelines because the facts are not on their side,” the president wrote. “When you can’t win the game, change the rules!”

Trump targeted CNN in much of his media criticism, saying it is a “ratings disaster. Lost all credibility!”

“I got NATO countries to pay 530 Billion Dollars a year more, and the U.S. less, and came home to a Fake News Media that mocked me. Didn’t think that was possible!,” he tweeted.

No, the President is too high profile to ban. What they will do instead is to ban his followers so that the President's tweets fall on deaf ears.
Once upon a time, the Media News Giants, decided what we got to know about our President. Then Al Gore invented the internet.
If he was not President, Twitter would have suspended him long ago.
I’m sure they wish they could but the blow back from 60+ million Americans would not be worth it, to say the least.

Trump could and would shut them down by naming them a a national security risk.
I bet his tweeting gets severely restricted sometime before the conventions. He already gets partially banned for periods. By the end of the primaries it might well be that only leftists have any access to social media at all . If google and fb suddenly cut off conservative communication in, say, August, by the time anything can be done to reverse it the Democrats will have swept the elections as the Republicans will have disappeared.
