I disagree with the premise.
The Saudi government was *not* mainly responsible for the 9/11 attacks.
The current government is working pretty hard to transform Saudi Arabia from fundamentalist Wahhabism; they are in a hot war with Yemen, and very close to being in a hot war with Iran.
You might notice that the 9/11 attackers had to come to the US to get their flight trainging from commercial sources.
They were not trained by the U.S. military.
Is DB too stupid to realize that the US guv was in on 9/11? Doesn’t mean we’re also stupid to be cozied up to the Saudis, including on our own military training bases.
