If you don't like how your local world has changed, just pack up and move to some other place where things are to your liking. Vote with your feet. It's far easier to move yourself than try to move 1 million new high density neighbors.

Eventually you run out of places to move to. That's the problem with "White Flight".

While generally I agree with the “demography is destiny” arguments, there remain other issues.

I live in New England, and white voters in states like Vermont and Massachusetts vote heavily Democratic.

Eventually you run out of places to move to.

Locations cycle through the various stages of leftist destruction. There's always some place that's in the state you're looking for, either inside or outside the USA. The communists have finished destroying Vietnam and now it's a hot retirement location. The locals have traditional conservative values and are ambitious and hard working. Venezuela is not there yet but will be eventually.

If you want your present location to stop growing, some places have had success by choking off new water sources. If there's no water, there can be no population growth. But once the first tower crane goes up it's time to throw in the towel and move.
