You wouldn’t want to have “a beer” with the president of the United States who also happens to be one of the top 4 or 5 leaders in modern history?
I met Trump briefly in NYC years ago. He’s exactly like he is on camera. He talks. There’s no chance for a conversation. And he doesn’t really have time for idle chit-chat. If you can’t do something for him, then he’s pretty dismissive. And that’s totally fine! I don’t need my world leaders to be regular guys. Also, Trump doesn’t drink alcohol. So there’s that as well. When I met him he was drinking water.
