Greg was not cited for shooting the bear. He was cited for reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm. The police impounded his Kimber as evidence. The Kimber, with custom modifications, is worth about $1800. Unlawful discharge? In protecting yourself these thugs are going to throw unlawful discharge?
Especially when all six rounds hit home.
Effin law enforcement. I used to have such great respect for them. Now days, not so much.

I guess attacked and wounded or dead people make for easier police reports than gun discharges.

The guy who taught my wife’s CCW class was a retired police Captain. One thing he stressed very strongly in the course was that the police are not your friend.
