The admiral should quit and be an Msnbc consultant. That’s basically what he is anyway. Oh,and also a traitor.

I prefer those two clowns be brought up on charges, rather than being fired.

Most flag rank is a political position.

Trump is not playing by the rules, and the palace princes are angry.

Expect high ranking military officers to “leak” that the Armed Forces are exploring a coup against Trump.

I have worked with to many veterans. The military is not going to be standing in the way of the elite.

Baraq Soetoro had no problem firing belligerent officers. Why should President Trump?

Fire the traitors then hang the bastards.

Time to start setting some examples

“Spencer also noted that “I work at the pleasure of the President.” He sure doesn’t act like he believes that to be true. Perhaps the President should exercise his pleasure”

With a fat retirement, primo education and other benefits... all on the taxpayer’s dime for his service. And Spencer is an arrogant horses ass to boot. It is very easy to spend other peoples money...

I wouldn’t let him off the hook, I’d keep him working and keep his feet to the fire to produce and if he screws up again by allowing a case like this get as far as it did and as FUBAR as it was... let the jerk go.

The enlisted corp doesn’t deserve his brand of backstabbing leadership.

This is serious business. While the services, especially the Navy, have indirectly opposed presidential direction a few times in the past directly articulated defiance is rare. MacArthur was sacked for continuing to communicate directly with members of Congress after the JCS had specifically ordered him to route further communications through them. The commander of the USN base at Pensacola refused direction to expedite the arrival of about half a battalion of regular army infantry in early 1861. Lincoln wanted the yard secured as Ft Pickens already had been as part of maneuvering to get the Confederate forces to fire the first shot. The yard commander was an elderly, superannuated and semi-senile officer controlled by a trio of pro=secessionist navy officers. That is about the last time something akin to this has happened. The President is facing a collision with the globalist cadre of the US armed forces. One only hopes no major outbreak of hostilities may happen before this is settled. I don't think Soroa and Co. would balk at such a thing. An unexpected, undeclared attack by Iran or whoever would be advantageous to the rats and their media whores.

It has long been noticed that when wars first begin, the top brass are and have been bureaucrats — not worth a damn at real warfare. After enough brave young men have been wasted, some real wartime officers replace those bureaucrats, hopefully sooner rather than later.

At the present time it doesn’t surprise me that the upper echelons of our military seem to be crawling with bureaucrats. In case no one has noticed, bureaucrats almost universally despise DJT. Screw ‘em.

Mr President, It is your DUTY to bring these mutinous Officers to Justice. You, Sir, are the Commander in Chief. Put the order on paper and send it down the CoC. If I were to openly defy my superiors I would be out of work with no severance in a heartbeat

Now we see that a small portion of the military brass is part of the Deep State.
Now it is very much like “Seven Days in May”

Part of the problem might be that Trump was never in the military, and he has a holdover of respect for flag rank.

Once he realizes that admirals leave skid marks in their skivvies, and that Obama's O-5 and above thugs are still screwing things up, Mr. Trump will do the necessary.

The unwritten rule, but it is a rule as clear as any published, is that if you need to push back against your commander you do so privately, never in front of the men unless lives are at stake, and you never go chicken-s**t and turn to the press or outside.

These two senior commanders have gotten way too full of themselves. That happens all too often when large egos achieve high ranks. They start thinking their stuff doesn't stink.

Whether the CINC is right or wrong to intervene in this case is irrelevant. These two officers have set a terrible example and should be severely reprimanded. Otherwise they are telling everyone in uniform "Hey, don't like what your leadership is doing? Go make noise outside and see if you can put pressure on them." That will break down discipline and respect.

The entire narrative again, is like theS STATE Dept, with it’s rules going ahead of the President, and making their own policy. Same with the FBI,, or the former Justice Dept public servants. The Navy should be able to make the recommendations they think would be best, but the President, needs to be able to pardon whomsoever he feels he has the desire to do, with not much explanation. God forgives a LOT of people I would NEVER consider forgiving.

They seem to want to be fired. I’m guessing the Deep State put them up to this, so a hasty or angry dismissal by Trump can be spun as “disrespect to our military leaders” by an opposition that desperately needs to open another front in the war they are losing. Trump seems to be wise to their game and isn’t taking the bait.
