The media made Bevin a target knowing that would cause some Republican voters to protest by not voting any candidate for governor. That leaves that unselected circle for the governor’s seat on each protester ballot wide open for a crooked election official to mark.

I highly suspect that's what happened.

We don't hear near enough of what efforts are going on to get rid of voter fraud, ballot harvesting et al.... and rest assured, the 'win at all costs' DemonRats will be introducing a whole new product line of vote fraud efforts just in time for 2020. Of all the things that the GOP need to be working on, this has to be on the top of the list.
