The state already has people to run PG&E. There are a lot of people standing around DMV offices with their finger up their asses. A lateral move is in order.

If the state wanted to be hard-nosed about actually delivering power, that could happen. But this is California and California politics. They seriously want to tear down hydro-electric dams to let snail darters swim back upstream. They have no problem destroying agriculture to save bait fish. Ideology is much more important than reality to them.

Good luck to all of you Californians. I see more dark days and nights ahead.
