I am so glad that my mother and my father-in-law are long dead and gone. They were of like mind, and this kind of thing would have made them go berserk.
Then again, my mother lived through the depression as a newlywed in NYC, and she said that the sixties, societally speaking, were much worse than that. I wish I had the foresight to say: “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”
Don’t worry, parents! Of course the “educators” are doing everything “for the children”. Of, yes. They need more money “for the children”. Shut up and pay your taxes.
