yep, a dead mall by my kid’s house is now a homeless shelter.

The ones I heard about were made into apartments being rented out or condos or something. They looked like tiny houses only smushed into a mall.

While many of the malls near me (eastern Massachusetts) are in rough shape there's one that's doing at least fairly well...and maybe quite well...and that's the Natick Mall. JC Penny left the mall a couple of years ago (perhaps they bailed out,maybe they were pushed) and the space...every foot of it...was taken by a brand new Wegman's.

I hope Natick Mall lasts for a while longer because I love Wegman's and it's a great place to walk in bad weather.

Malls sorta destroyed downtown and the homeless ended up there. Now the malls are ruined by the internet and the homeless ended up at the mall. Sorta a full circle thing. At least the internet won’t end up with homeless. Lol.
