It’s sad that when there is such a yearning for children there are still so many abortions! Young couples today start out trying to NOT get pregnant and then when they think they are finally ready, they find they can’t GET pregnant.
I truly believe that in God’s wisdom - for it is He who opens and closes the womb - couples who are unable to conceive are meant to adopt the children of those who are unable to parent. There are huge waiting lists of people who want to adopt a child. Abortion should be UNTHINKABLE!
True. I’ve had discussions with people about how this works. Fertility in both men and women declines as we age. Fertility for most couples, assuming they are in a couple and wanting to conceive, is excellent in their 20s. Yet the decade of one’s twenties is a decade in which many try to avoid pregnancy, due to attending college, grad school, and trying to build a career before staring a family.
Based only on biological fertility, and if there were no other considerations, both males and females would seek to marry and have children in their late teens and early twenties. That is, if there were no other life goals or considerations in their lives.
