My kids and grandkids were informed their power will be turned off at Noon, and last up to 5 days.
They do not live in Venezuela, they live in Moraga, CA.

Scott Adams mentioned that his power is to be turned off a noon with no estimate when it will be turned back on.
“Moraga, CA.”
Nice area, my cousin lives there.
But note: A wildfire could blow through there in less than an hour from the first wisp of smoke and burn the entire town to the ground.
And no human force could stop it.
It’s good they shut off power.
Who’s going to pay for all the food in the freezer at home, at restaurants and grocery stores? Who’s going to be responsible when EMS can’t be called? Who’s going to be monitoring all the signal lights in town? Who’s going to prop up businesses that need the power to stay open? Who’s going to monitor everywhere that has the security alarms and cameras turned off? How long until the generators run out of gas that operate life sustaining machines at hospitals and nursing homes and home care? No gas can be pumped. No one can go to work or school and no one can buy food or anything else.
Yeah, 5 days is sooooooo smart. We really should start that border wall on the east side of Kalifornica.
They could get on the high speed train to no where for a week...Oh, wait...
