Moloch is an actual demon, and is referenced in Scripture many times.
Leviticus 18:21
You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Moloch, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.
Jeremiah 32:35
They built the high places of Baal in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to offer up their sons and daughters to Moloch, though I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
Deuteronomy 12:31
You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
Leviticus 20:1-27
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Moloch shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Moloch, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name. When the evil people would bring the innocent infants to the flaming bronze statue/furnace that the demon demanded, they would place the little naked child on the red hot bronze plate. The pain would be so intense that the child's face would contort into a hideous expression that they called "The Grinning."
Moloch, Satan, and all the other demons are still around.
I have had debates with many liberals and leftists, including those in my own family.
I can tell you that one of the prime motivations of their support of democrats and hatred of conservatives is because of abortion.
In fact, it is the prime motivation for millions. The demonic hold on them is powerful, it is spiritual, and it is very real.
