This was good. I've already forgiven Lindsey. I think since McCain died he doesn't have the bad influence he did.
One thing that we all need to keep in mind: an impeachment isn't a criminal process bound by the same rules as all others in the USA. It's more a political process, with some criminal flavorings added.
Ultimately you have politicians voting to remove one of their own. So, the rules are what the Senate says in the Senate and what the House says in the House. It's not like a Federal trial where the rules are long established, and there are multiple levels of appeal to defendants if the prosecutors break them.
It is an interesting point that he makes about the accuser. I think it's vital that we learn who it is ASAP. When we investigated some of the Mueller team we found Strzok / Page, which was the beginning of the end.
It only takes one patriotic citizen to violate the "anonymity" of the so called Whistleblower. I hope someone does it soon.
If Trump's phone calls have no presumption of privacy someone being the lead protagonist in an attempt to remove the elected POTUS should have no expectation nor right to privacy.
Anf far better than a formal process to unmask them is the use of LEAKS. For once, lets have a leak that helps our side.
I hope someone In DC with the knowledge to share decides to do so soon!
Thanks for your well-reasoned reply to my post.
Panic is contagious, and the enemedia will do their best to stoke panic in all segments of our society. This mirrors their own panic.
It’s astonishing how much we’ve already learned in just a few days that exonerates Trump and puts the RATs in a very bad light indeed.
Considering what discovery would look like in a Senate trial, the RATs need to be asking themselves if they want to have all their own misdeeds exposed in testimony.
I wish McConnell would just say that he will tie any bill of impeachment up in committee until doomsday. On the other hand, it might be sensible to just give the impression of neutrality, considering how the media would go berserk if Mitch made such a statement.
Still, considering McConnell’s legendary maneuver with the Merrick Garland SCOTUS nomination, you have to wonder if that’s not what he’s really thinking. If I was in his shoes, I wouldn’t want to show all my cards at this early date either.
