Royal Caribbean’s all-you-can-drink package is $55 a day.

They know how to make sure you can't monetarily out drink them.

The package doesn't include an 18% gratuity and :
Royal Carribean- Any guest wishing to purchase an alcoholic beverage package must do so for all guests of legal drinking age in the same stateroom, for sailings on or after December 31st, 2017.

They also probably don’t pour very strong when they can get away with it, i.e., drinks with mixes, juices, waters. etc. Regular martinis are good because it is harder to cheat on the alcohol content.

Which is why I am done with Royal Caribbean & with cruises unless dragged along.

If I’m sitting in a rowboat in a pond with fishing lines out & a cooler of beer, I have more liberty than on a cruise ship.

Oh - left something out. Being crammed into a 900 foot long sardine can with 3,000 plus middle aged proles and little ventilation, that put me in the hospital for a week after disembarking, as the pneumonia and flu in my system fought over which was going to make me more miserable.

The flight to Seattle & back was on a thirty year old sardine can with wings. Claustrophobia at 35,000 ft.

I have become a big fan of youtube vids with “Cruise ship from h*ll” in the title. At least the toilets worked.

;^)
