I'm not getting an error message at all. That's the crazy thing. And I turned Kaspersky and the ad blocker off and it still won't load. And Flash works everywhere else.
When I enter the address of the main Dailymotion site I get only a plain, white, blank screen. When I click on a video there, I go to a mostly white screen (it has a black border and the words "Daily Motion" at the top) and I can make out very faint gray lines where the text is supposed to be, as well as the little "bubble," very faint, blinking where the video is supposed to be. None of this makes the slightest bit of sense. That's what's bothering me most (as well as losing some good old movies and TV shows).
But the craziest thing of all is that when I click on page information in either case (plain white or white with faint gray lines), my browser(s) seem to think that the page is loading with no problems. They think the site is loading when there's nothing there.
I'm just gonna have to take this thing to the shop, and I really hate that. Last time I took my computer to the shop I was without one for four weeks.
Not next week, but maybe the week after.
