Following the headlines about a possible impeachment inquiry regarding President Trump’s phone conversation with the President of the Ukraine, KGVO reached out to Constitutional scholar Dr. Rob Natelson.
Natelson, the Constitutional Fellow at the Independence Institute in Denver provided clarification about the possible charges against the President.
“In order for there to be grounds for impeachment, the President must have committed treason, or bribery or another felony, or what’s called a high misdemeanor, which means a breach of fiduciary duty or breach of trust,” said Natelson. “There are pretty clear standards for what that means in our law and chatting about potential corruption in another country involving an American citizen certainly doesn’t qualify.”
Natelson looked back at the last President to be impeached, Bill Clinton.
“Remember when Bill Clinton was impeached, there was unquestionable evidence that he had committed a felony, specifically the felony of perjury, and yet even that was not sufficient for the Senate to convict him and remove him from office,” he said. “I don’t see how this charge or any other charges that I’ve yet seen against the President would even begin to come to the level of the impeachment standard.”

Democrats have to “assume” what Trump really “meant” when he said “that would be great”. As if it was code for something else. I think a little more evidence would be needed to indicate he really meant “give me dirt on my political opponent or I’ll use my office of President to punish you”.

Evidence has nothing to do with this. It is just an exercise in political destruction without justification.

Natelson is missing a key point here. It’s his own “breach of trust” part. The Constitution gives the House the sole power to determine what an impeachable offense is. The House doesn’t need to find an actual felony. For example, the House can legally impeach a President just because the President was late for a news conference. Would that be stupid, and petty? Yes. But it would also be constitutional.

Since the early 1800’s, the playbook always included mass rebellion, lawlessness, takeover and demolition of finance and markets, chaos, and revolution.
It included and required literal propaganda, extreme social pressure, brainwashing, segregation of targeted groups, violence, assassination’s, and total compliance and subjugation of the minds and property of the masses, to be handed over to total state control.
What we are witnessing today in America, is conceptually absolutely no different at all, except they haven’t quite eliminated the babyboom generation or the 1st and 2nd Amendments. However, they do have mass social media to speed it all along, and their goal of global socialist governance is closer in many respects than at any point in the recent past.
They are blood thirsty, and can smell the blood of those segments of society and their children, who would stand in their way.
The U.S. Constitution is absolutely meaningless to the left, other than it has been a long standing impediment to their totalitarian global socialist governance objectives.
They would hardly hesitate to throw the actual hard copies of the original U.S. Constitution, and all Bible’s through wood chippers.
If their morality licenses aborting babies, anything less would not even be an issue

All the left needs right now for impeachment, is what they perceive to be a little bit of cover.
Does not matter if they falsely manufactured the reason.
In fact, if they get away with it, they will laugh that much harder at the gullible sheeple they have worked so long and hard to brainwash.
Truth, fact, and reality never get in the way of the LIARS on the left. They can, will, have, are, and will lie about anything and everything they need to in trying to create their own reality and history.

We need to call them on their lies each and every time we catch them. They are used to getting away with their lies and that needs to stop.
