Impeachment in and of itself is nothing. Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton both were impeached, and nothing came of it. Johnson's was clearly driven buy partisan sentiment, and perhaps even Bill Clinton's. Neither amounted to much in the long term. As it is currently constructed and used, impeachment is a flawed tool.
