Republicans are latching onto conservative outrage over the push to impeach President Donald Trump and turning it into a 2020 fundraising bonanza.
Trumps reelection campaign and the Republican National Committee on Tuesday sent an array of fundraising emails inviting conservatives to donate and join the Official Impeachment Defense Task Force, which was described as a group made up of only President Trumps most LOYAL supporters, the ones committed to fighting for him, re-electing him, and taking back the House.
By the end of the day, party officials said, the fundraising offensive had netted around $1 million.
The effort demonstrates how the GOP sees the impeachment push as a tool to stoke the grievances of the Trump base and monetize the presidents clashes with Democrats ahead of 2020. Party officials, who for months have been playing to Trump supporters distaste of the left through a merchandising effort, are convinced the inquiry could turn into a cash windfall and not just for Trump himself.

Awesome. No doubt McConnell and Graham will coast to reelection now.
I would hope so. In Kentucky the alternative would be a disaster. Any D would be a disaster.
Hoping McConnell keeps getting the judges seated!
Place to donate to President Trump’s campaign:
No doubt McConnell and Graham will coast to reelection now.
If I had to pick between the two, I would rather see Graham go, I believe he was involved deeply with the Steele Dossier
McConnell has been doing great with the judges, which is a huge win for us in the long run
I absolutely refuse to join the Mitch haters on these threads.
Recognizing his limitations, Yertle has done yeoman work with judges, and was rather magnificent during the Kavanagh mess.
Hey, if he does good, then he does good.
People showing up with the cliched “I ain’t trust him” posts miss the point that it isnt an issue of trust, but of his actions.
And if those actions are good, then he gets my kudos.
McConnell and 4 more years of Trump WILL flip the Judiciary for 20+ years. They are nominating mostly 40 and early 50 year old judges.
Absolutely critical. This will do more to protect us from the Leftist kooks trying to gain power.
For every donkey vote to impeach, we need to pledge a $ to the Trump campaign.
This impeachment nonsense will go away quickly.
I agree.
Mitch knows how the Senate works and has led the way on the nominations / confirmations of President Trump’s judicial picks.
Lindsey Graham was brilliant at the Kavanaugh hearing. I support him just for that.
The Democrats will be destroyed by President Trump. He will campaign on this first term “witch hunt” to take back the House from the Leftist Democrats, to retain the Senate and to sweep to his own solid victory.
Every ballot box should be guarded from Democrat voter fraud, so he can gain not only an electoral college victory, but the popular vote victory as well. The Left should be crushed for at least the next generation.
“If I had to pick between the two, I would rather see Graham go, I believe he was involved deeply with the Steele Dossier”
I think he was part of McCain’s team, but once McCain passed, Lindsey decided to come out from the dark side.
Recognizing his limitations, Yertle has done yeoman work with judges, and was rather magnificent during the Kavanagh mess.
McConnell should use “impeachment” as the reason that he’ll continue to get judges confirmed, even during 2020 election season.
Ya, my already overflowing in-box of political cash calls, doubled yesterday.
fundraising site teh article stalking about ..it is for both Trump and Congressional districts
And don’t forget that McConnell kept the Supreme Court seat open at Great risk to his own political future.
He did that during the time that every major News Network predicted Hillary was going to win.
That had to take a lot of Courage.
True.
Mitches purpose is judges. All the grevence and issues I have had with him for decades are nothing. His legacy will be and purpose in life is constitutionly centered judges.
