Booker is an out and proud Communist. This will never pass with the current Republican majority, but it does show that dems are showing their true totalitarian colors.

Do you think Booker would be OK with extending that license requirement to every other right protected in the Constitution?

How about requiring a license to go to church, or a license to write for a newspaper, or a license to vote -- after all it seems reasonable to have to show that you know about US History, etc. before you are allowed to vote.

What a ridiculous idea, and totally unconstitutional.

“This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will...”

Still in effect, Mr Booker.

Booker is a traitorous Demonicrat who doesn’t realize in his excretions that the Second Amendment doesn’t include the right to operate a motor vehicle.

Booker’s excrement needs to be flushed down the toilet, not publicized like it was within light years of any sentient thought.

We’ll see whether or not Republicans set universal background checks and red flag laws up for Democrats to spike America with such laws in the near future. If that’s going to happen, we might as well call them on it and get the whole matter settled.

Do the more equal animals really want a communist regime under a different system of government? Do CEOs really want people like Warren to be running this country? We’ll see.

Hey Booker, exactly HOW will this reduce violent crime?

Oh, that’s not its purpose? Thought so.

“If you need a license to drive a car, you should need a license to buy and possess a gun,” said U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, a Presidential candidate, and the bill’s author.

Yeah, um, no. I'm told that driving is a privilege. RKBA is not, it's a right that I didn't get from Uncle Sam, just lie my AR, so they can't take it.

There’s no background check for getting a license or car.

Should make voting laws like that instead of gun laws. At least voters should have to register ahead of time and show ID.

“This will never pass with the current Republican majority...”

Right. We have some real patriotic stalwarts on the side of our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Willard “Mittens” Romney, Susan Collins, Barbara Murkowski, Mike Lee & John “Wayne” Cornyn are just a few that come to mind. There are others, too.

No worries.

In the meantime, I am standing ready.

This bill is a %$!~*&&^ wet dream for would-be gun-grabbers.

“If you need a license to drive a car, you should need a license to buy and possess a gun,” said U.S. Sen. Cory Booker

No. Driving a car is not a right Constitutionally protected from infringement by the government. Licensing requirements are an infringement.

...would require individuals who want to buy or receive a firearm to first get vetted by and be issued a license from the U.S. Department of Justice.

HA! That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Who is going to vet the DOJ? I guaran-damn-tee you I am more trustworthy than the DOJ. That's not hyperbole, that's a fact I can back up with hard evidence.

In addition to an extensive background check, applicants would have to complete firearms training “which must include a written test and hands-on training to ensure safe use and accuracy,” and submit fingerprints.

And once in place, these background checks could become more onerous, more difficult to "pass." Ditto the training and assurance of safe use - no doubt these would become more expensive, harder to find/sign up for, the training would become more difficult, the evaluations harder to pass... All this does is make it easy for the leftists to begin disarming us little by little, or not so little by not so little.

Further, the licensee would have to report to DOJ the make, model, and the serial number of the gun being transferred.

And there you have it, blatant gun registration. The only reason for gun registration is so that the government will know where they are when they decide to come confiscate them. Such lists do not prevent crime, they do not help solve crimes. They are only there so that the government can someday commit crimes - against us.

The license would have to be renewed every five years, to include refresher training and a subsequent background check. No license, no guns.

He really isn't hiding the intent at all. They will be using this law to confiscate our firearms.

...the bill would also mandate that DOJ “regularly conduct checks to ensure that individuals are in compliance with the federal license requirements,” and stipulates that the licenses could be revoked if it is felt a gun owner is a threat.

Wow, not content to give themselves unprecedented powers to control private firearms ownership...They are basically just coming right out and saying "if we don't want you to have a firearm, we'll come and disarm you for whatever contrived reason we make up." Because we all know "...it is felt..." by the left that no-one other than the police, military, and their personal security guards needs to have firearms.

How about a license to say stupid shit? What? No license because it’s a right guaranteed by the 1st Amendment?

Read a little further and you’ll find another right guaranteed by the Constitution.

I cannot state whether or not Booker is a Communist or not BUT it is certainly true that he’s a MORON & a FOOL of the first order. - IMO. the sole job in the US Congress that he may actually be qualified for is applying to be a custodian, with his major responsibility to clean the public toilets in the Capitol.

I believe that he thinks that his STUPID ranting is taken seriously by people, other than the DUMBEST of the “mentally challenged”.

Yours, TMN78247
