Men are not “less marriageable “. It’s just that men are finally waking up and realizing that there is nothing that benefits them in marriage. What is the upside for man in getting married? What does the woman bring to the table.? Not only is there absolutely no reason for it, but a man would seriously have to be out of his mind to even think about getting married. It’s all downside and no upside. If a man wants to have children, he should wait until he’s older and then hire a surrogate. That way there are no custody issues. Free and clear. And for Gods sake, don’t even cohabitate! If a man wants to be in a relationship with a woman they can maintain their own residences like mature adults and see each other when they wish. We need to evolve to more mature relationships. Marriage is male servatude enforced by the state.

I must disagree. My bride enriches life in 10,000 ways. I’d be a poor man without her.

Personally as a woman, I feel the same way. But, I’d never make a blanket statement about what works for me. Not every woman has kissed only toads. Some have found their Prince Charming and more power to them. I personally am very content alone.
