According to analysis, the head of the hammer consists of 97 pure iron, 2 percent chlorine, and 1 percent sulfur.

Hammer design is just like those in our small local museum from the late 1800’s-early 1900’s. Somebody had a rock-walled shop and hung the hammer in the rock.

It is from Archaeology magazine. Check the source, before making nasty, irrelevant comments.

No its. not. It's from something called, "www.archaeology-world.com," a site that can't write a headline in simple English, "discovered In Texas The London" What the hell does that mean. The body of the article says it was discovered in a place called London, Texas. So how does that become "Texas The London"?

Just by glancing through the site anyone can see that it is full of crackpot, pseudo-science bullcrap.

.. So no one’s going to question a website that uses — twice — the term “Texas The London”?

"You find him a talkin dog, and get a hotel room and he'll prove it!"

The punch line to an old joke. "The dog lies..."

It would behoove you to search that question out.

Of course it is possible to have talking dogs! Just ask them a question.

Hey dog, what is that on the top of the house! “ROOF ROOF ROOF!”

What is that on the tree! “BARK BARK BARK!”

Then there was the talking mule.
Farmer; Hey mule you want some oats?

Mule raised it’s tail and spewed...”Afew”.

Sure, why not?

400 million is a blink of the eye in geologic time.

We could have come and gone a bunch of times.

Well, that is simply not true.

Unless of course you are taking the bible literally. Then you have a bunch of issues to deal with.

“This has led several ufologists and ancient astronaut theorists to a quick deduction of the context of the incredible discovery leading them to assume not only that there was a human civilization before the historical process of petrification in Texas, but that this ancient civilization already possessed the necessary technology for the fabrication of a hammer with modern features.”

One might think that ancient aliens had better equipment.

I didn’t say “all of it started 6,000 years ago”. Just man. As I said, these’s no verifiable recorded history earlier than about 5000 years ago.

I said There is no verifiable record of man’s existence past 6000 years ago. Written history is no older than 5000 years.

You said, Well, that is simply not true.

What's your backup and verifiable support?

For instance, every "discovery" of some ancient man like "Neanderthal man" has turned out to be a hoax.

If they would just turn the hammer over they would see clearly marked on the back side of the hammer “MADE IN CHINA”

I found one just like that only it has ‘Pat.Pend.’ stamped into it. Would it be worth anything? I could use the money.

I don’t see how they conclude that the hammer could not have gotten into the rock unless it was there when the rock was formed. Seems pretty clear how it was done. Someone made a hole in the rock for the handle, put the iron in the slot carved for the hammerhead, then put the handle into the hole. Apparently did not fit precisely, so they pounded on it, breaking the handle. If it had been there even for a million years, it would have rusted away.
