* Allow anyone to purchase a plan with tax free dollars, especially 1099 employees, Obamacare never did that, this is crux of the matter, it wasn't about you getting a plan, it was about control.
* Allow all types of plans not the Obama qualified plan which was essentially a high end BCBS plan, lots of bells and whistles, but a deductible and cost that was unaffordable.
* Allow front loading HSA's with contributions. We have one and frankly it is clunky until you get some tax free dollars in it (Frankly my better half hates it). Employers would build a lot of good will if they front loaded it instead of monthly, and we paid them back if you will.

These simple changes would go a long way.

The Alliance Health Plans that were allowed would boom if natural groups (any group formed not to purchase insurance) a Credit Union, your Church, all the Churches etc in your town as a group member would be allowed to join, and with you tax free dollars, purchase a group plan throught them, as noted above would darn near cure all this madness IMHO...

Could the taxfree dollars be in the form of a write off for those the insurer verifies as covered? There’s an enforcement and public policy issue if not.
