I’ve been shadow-banned. I suspect they used my MAC address (router and/or computer); the network device that connects us to the Internet on any device. We can change our IP address using a VPN but the MAC address is written in stone on any given device. There are ways to spoof it but it’s a pain and you have to spoof your computer and router address. It’s not worth it to me at this time. I’d rather not give Foxnews my business and give it to someone else (OAN). The modem likely has a MAC address too so it can be complicated.

I use a VPN, Script Blocker, and Ad Block Plus so I’m as insulated as I can be (within reason). Firefox is and has been my main browser for about 10 years now. I’d use Brave but they don’t allow my Script Blocker which is important to me. Brave is basically Firefox Light.
I also got away from Windows several years ago. I find Linux Mint to be so much better, more reliable, and faster in general. It was like upgrading my computer when I switched to Linux Mint. If you haven’t done so yet; I highly recommend it.
I don’t think websites can see your MAC address. I highly recommend trying Opera, if Brave doesn’t work. Or try Chrome.
