Hampton Beach 1940

Hampton Beach modern day

That seems like a good thing.
The resolution too poor to judge.
Its not the 40’s its the 50’s, too many early and mid 50’s cars in the picture.
OMG it’s swallowed up all the cars!
Those were vintage cars too. Damn.
I spent a ;ot pf time there in the 60’s and early 70’s
10+ years, still not enough female skin to judge.
I’ve been going to the beaches in Southern California for over 50 years or more. Haven’t seen any change except the normal tides. Climate Change = B.S.
That was my wine-fueled thought. There would be a distinct reduction in material...
An incredible young man that I’ve mentored since he was two worked at Blinks fried dough on Hampton Beach. I think that’s him in the photo.
Oooh, you got the sand castles. Get some fried doe at Blinks.
If you want an apples to apples comparison, make sure you put that water tower in the exact same spot and depth, and since panoramic photos weren’t so readily available in the middle of the century, consider cropping the recent pan to the same size photo. Ill bet after all that, there isnt a huge difference other than the black and white vs color.

All the cars are post-WWII!
Global warming has caused color photography?
Well, THAT's a Good Thing.
Ditto Jersey shore. The Atlantic Ocean is exactly where it was in the 60’s. Still hasn’t reached Ocean Ave.
Sand sculpting?
The castle in the foreground has Chuck Schumer’s face on it.
