Vortex and Nikon.

Great value and good glass. Leupold too. I swear though it seems like the eye relief on all the Leupold’s I have used is a little more finicky than the others.

Have one Zeiss scope 3x9 Conquest. I like it. For the money though I can’t see where it’s better than the Vortex or Nikon.

One of the trends I don’t understand is guys buying lightweight rifles and then mounting huge, heavy scopes. But to each his own.

I use red dots on small arms. Vortex strikefire works good.

I was doing some research and discovered that my Nikon 7X50s are actually the model called “Tropical”. They look just like a WWII era Navy Bausch & Lomb but the optics are even better.

The 6X30 are of the exact same construction.
