The thing is, if Stone, et al, really wanted to get these folks, it really wouldn’t be hard and hopefully he and his team are doing just that.
The text messages that have come out prove everything, really. They didn’t think there were ever going to get caught, so they were carefree about everything. While it would take some work, money and some paperwork, it wouldn’t be hard to determine how CNN learned about the FBI showing up at his house. Just start getting phone records and that trail of breadcrumbs will lead to someone.
