These two shooters passed background checks because they had no previous infractions of the law. Nothing the Democrats have passed would have prevented them from owning guns. This is just another Democrat attempt to disarm American citizens, which did not work so well at the El Paso Walmart, a “Gun Free Zone.”
By the way, the El Paso police strategy of letting a shooter shoot for 20 minutes, so he can live while many victims die, is not smart. The Dayton police strategy was much more effective.
Sanctity precedes sanity
SHUT DOWN THE PUNLIC SCHOOLS.
I’m willing to bet they both are the product of public school.
The meme they are striving for is that White men are emotionally fragile and therefore mentally ill. The police will be able to disarm you under the Red Flag laws. We are looking more and more like the old Soviet Union except with lots of brown people waiting to take over.

But the El Paso police have already been praised for their quick response. (I read that the shooter stopped when he ran out of ammo).
I think there is a difference when the shooter is out in the open and can be seen rather than in a building.
Definitely.
Half the American population--inluding the entire Democrat Party and all who consider themselves "progressives"/"liberals" (whatever the newspeak du jour happens to be--suffers from a severe mass psychosis.
What’s needed is insane asylums....and gallows.
Correct - it's a lot more dangerous to the police clearing a building than shooting a lunatic in the open. "You want them to go home to their families at night don't you?" Saw the same thing at Parkview. As long as no police were inured it's all OK. And since Walmart was supposedly a gun free zone (thus disarming only the law abiding) the murderous filth had a free reign to kill people.
Yep. We didn't have mass shootings and armies of homeless nutcases back when crazies were locked up in asylums.
“...since Walmart was supposedly a gun free zone (thus disarming only the law abiding) the murderous filth had a free reign to kill people....”
Exactly. Nail, meet hammer.
“Gun free” zones are ridiculous and moronic. Avoid the “gun free” kill zones if at all possible, or just totally ignore em...for your own safety. Conceal carry is exactly that: concealed carry. If questioned, state you didn’t see the sign and just immediately leave. When the SHTF, I’d rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6.

You should become a police officer and serve as an example.
Nah - I don't like killing dogs.
If 50% of young people feel as though they have no purpose in life I suggest that America needs God, specifically Jesus Christ. These young people need to know that they are created in His image and have value and a purpose. Nihilism and materialism are not the answer to our nation’s problems. Neither is politics. We are fallen creatures and need redemption.
The point is you become a police officer to set an example by entering buildings alone where there is a shooter, regardless of the danger, and not shooting any dogs no matter how threatening.
And thus you prove my point of view for me by saying that you need someone else to set the example "regardless of the danger." Some might say that going after the shooter to protect citizen lives "regardless of the danger" is exactly what police should do, but we know better don't we? After all what if the shooter kills a few more unarmed citizens - as long as police aren't exposed to danger it's all good.
Let’s start with ending the overprescribing of psychotropic drugs.
“Side effects may include mass murder...”
And thus you prove my point of view for me by saying that you need someone else to set the example “regardless of the danger.”
...
Absolutely wrong.
You need to back up your cowardly clucking with action.
I sense a pattern here. "Police put their lives on the line every day" or so we've been told, but they don't. They put other people lives on the line. I didn't sign up to be a cop so I'm not required to enter a building to save innocent lives. The cops did, but they didn't really mean it.
