And there is the trigger! Thank you so much. I will keep an eye out for that. I forget sometimes how these dated scripts operate because this would not be needed on newer scripts. But I kind of like the retro aspect and how light this script is. It is something I wouldn’t mind getting a copy of to play with. I wonder if Jim and Rob started with a known base script and then built on it? Or if it is all from scratch? :)

Real Southerners can walk on and even run on gravel roads barefoot.

I like the grounding its the tetanus shot from the nail punctures that kills the buzz. 😉

The human body is a capacitor and needs to be discharged occasionally.

Nothing that can't be satisfied by touching your little sister's ear after rubbing your feet on the carpet.

Here's an interesting fact: It is actually better to step on a nail in bare feet than to have it come into your foot through socks and shoes. Sounds odd, I know, but the theory is that the rubber soles of shoes are havens for the dangerous kinds of bacterias and when a nail goes through the rubber sole and into your foot, a piece of that rubber sole is pushed into your foot as well.

Also, as one who goes barefoot a lot, you intuitively get more careful where you step when you are in bare feet. Also, when I do step on something sharp (in bare feet), I immediately step off of it. When wearing shoes, you don't realize you are on top of a sharp object until it is too late.

Having bare feet definitely makes you more conscious of where you are walking and puts you more in touch with your environment. Worse thing that happened to me in bare feet was on Marco Island a few years back when I stepped on the edge of a sharp shell. But that was my fault, I saw the shell sticking out of the sand and stepped on it anyhow, thinking I would just break it or push it further into the sand. It broke through my skin but healed up within a day or so.

That all said, there are places to go barefoot and places where you should NEVER go barefoot, such as dirty city streets and indoor public places like stores, restaurants, etc.

You're lucky. A Florida woman just died from flesh-eating bacteria at the seashore. (But lakes harbor it too).

Any wound can leave an opening for the bacteria.

Socks and shoes harbor 200+ strains of bacteria.

Barefoot—only a couple.
