Looking back through posts, the Fox News story indicates it’s from sources working the case. Not an official announcement.
The reportage seem to stem from John Solomon, who is generally reliable. Someone fed him the story for a reason, rendering part or all suspect. I can’t see any benefit to the Barr DoJ to soften the ground for non-prosecution, when they could easily say that decision is still being evaluated. The leak seems designed to benefit Comey, a guy with leaking in his repertoire.
