Joe diGenova is a former US Attorney to DC. He is a professional with longstanding ties into the DOJ. He wouldn’t say any of this unless he had contacts who were okay with him providing limited information. He’s likely adding to it just among the professional legal class who are catching the waves of activity.
He’s said beyond a grand jury preparing to go under the direction of John Durham next month, that the demand for defense counsels is getting fierce.
This is exactly the type of thing people in the business hear when they operate at the senior legal levels of DC over decades. He’s not gaslighting people the way others have like the whacked-out Qultists.
He doesn’t control timing as things can shift. So, for example, the DOJ IG Report timing has shifted due to people going back to redo their testimony. The floodgates with these witnesses reopened because of the criminal probe (review) by one very effective US Attorney, John Durham. There are criminal penalties now in play and people are taking action for self-protection.
This is to be expected when the real arm of the law is coming down and the rats begin scurrying.
We are going to see some major developments in the coming month leading into Labor Day.
I respect Joe DiGenova enormously. He’s a real patriot and so is his wife, Victoria.
I think they do these pre-release announcements for a bunch of reasons. Sometimes it causes pundits to say things they regret.
We had two years of “pre-release” stuff going on with the Mueller report, and look where that left the MSM and the D party. :) We have two years worth of comedy gold comments.
Hopefully, if a Grand Jury is actually sitting, the LAST THING ON EARTH that should/will happen is for William Barr to release any relevant documents to Congress.
They can read the indictments.

Well I won’t post any such news again. That is for sure. Most people here want to believe that Trump is an incompetent boob who only appoints idiots to his cabinet, and that he could never pull off any justice. They are an insult to the president.

Let’s not forget Mueller’s angry Democrats had perjury traps, criminal indictments and guilty pleas in months. Where there is a will there is a way. And right now the GOP swampers have no will to criminally prosecute their Democrat friends to the benefit of Donald J. Trump. It’s that simple. Sorry.
Joe said yesterday, that the IG report was delayed because it would interfere with Durhams grand jury work in August.
