I was there when Nadler was selected for the seat by a board of Communist apparatchiks. The moment that happened he was permanently a Congressman as long as he pursued their agenda, which he has quite faithfully.
He is in no primary danger whatsoever because that district doesn’t have genuine elections. It has an alliance of corrupt, far-left interests that have been embedded in the district and controlled its politics for generations.
In this context, the idea that a primary challenge puts any pressure on him whatsoever is ludicrous. It’s like arguing Stalin feared losing an election and therefore did something specific to head that off.
