Rap music in the 1980s sucked and still sucks.

The Eagles were good in the 70's, the 80's, the 90's and today.

They actually didn't release a studio album in the 1980s but Henley has a pretty good solo career in the decade.

I have to respectfully disagree with that assertion about the music of the 80s.   Some of my favorite songs were written and first performed in the 80s, including the following brief sampling.

That’s not a problem. Flip to the dial to the rock station. Let the disco folks dance at home to music on the disco station. What you are saying may be true with pop stations, but ROCK stations did not play disco. Ever.
