Major Library Association Conference Featured Training on “Community Resistance” to Drag Queen Events
Not a surprise, AT ALL. Librarians, or at least their main association, fought like mad to ‘protect’ the right of children, of any age, to use the internet in their libraries, to access ALL SITES. The fight came up when Americans attempted to impose some restrictions on what little kids have access to in public libraries.
I don’t know why they hate families so much, but this is the country we live in.
This is what we got when we traded in Librarians for graduates of “Library Science”.

How queer. It’s a public library. Everything is out in the open, right?
The ALA doesn’t care about movie ratings or porn magazines being “Adults only”. The ALA position is that anything in the library is available to anyone who requests it, regardless of ‘Ratings”. And some libraries (at least at one time) shelve “Playboy” magazine if for the articles/interviews and nothing else.
DON’T LET YOUR KIDS GO.
Pretty simple solution.
No attendees, no perverse programming.
Don’t the serve the community?
if the community doesn’t want it, shouldn’t the libraries accede to the community’s wishes?
CONSERVATIVES must run or be appointed to LIBRARY BOARDS to stop this madness. Conservatives, LIBRARIANS are key too. It’s past time to clean house.
